While we havent directly, we did have a customer say they use a tool from Bitrecover that converted their IMAP mailbox to a PST file and have had good success with it.

Unfortunately, SmarterMail does not have any built-in tools that can do this. The most straightforward way would be to connect Outlook to the account via IMAP and export the data yourself. Another option that a client reported several months back was to use this utility. ( https://www.nucleustechnologies.com/imap-backup/ )  I have not used it myself but they seemed happy with the results.
