Smartermail 16 - Message in the Spool stuck suddenly
Problem reported by Alaa Majzoub - 4/12/2021 at 3:10 AM
Submitted
The mail server is working perfectly, suddenly clients call saying that the email are not being delivered or received.
We check the Spool and find it growing to hundreds and thousands if we leave it without any action.
The only solution is to Stop and Run the smartermail service and the spool works for 24 hours without any issue, then at no reason, the same issue happens.
i got this error log

Hello Alaa,

The best place to start is going to be the Spam Checks to see if they are taking a long time.

You will want to look at RBL's tab as well. IF you see any in there that are taking too long you can try to disable then temporarily and see if this resolves your issue. The Top one here is one that we would want to disable in this example.

If you have a lot of calls that are taking a long time you can go to Settings -> General and adjust the DNS servers.

Delete the entries so that they are blank and save.

I hope this helps.

Thank you
