Not A Problem
Hello Support Team

Smartermail allowed empty space for both front and back of the password, Non-tech clients are struggling reset password while copy and paste the new password

It's a smartermail bug

Although I agree that spaces and non-visible should be removed that isn't a SmarterMail/SmaterTools bug. It is a bug with the user. We need to put the blame where the blame should be.

With that said, I prose a "feature" to make it so that SmarterMail/SmaterTools strip blank/non-visible characters.

Good afternoon, I hope this message finds you well. I completed some testing on this on our internal test systems, but was not able to reproduce the behavior. In my testing the preceding and trailing spaces were stripped from the password reset attempt, and only the valid characters were allowed through. As such, this looks to be resolved under our latest release and I ask that you complete an upgrade and test further. Have a good one!
