Some Forwarded Messages Don't Include Attachments
Problem reported by JerseyConnect Team - 1/8/2021 at 2:22 PM
Resolved
We've had a user report that several forwarded messages with attachments were being sent without the attachments.

My testing confirmed this and I have opened a support ticket, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same. I couldn't find any pattern, just that a given message would either include the attachment or not every time it was forwarded. The message doesn't even need to be sent for this to be true. I could simply save the message as a draft and then view it to see the lack of attachments.

We're on the latest build 7669.

Yes, we also opened a ticket for the same reason, we were on a very stable versions and decided to move on, now I'm facing the issue with attachments and others.

Are you forwarding from what type of integrated account? Is it EAS or MAPI?

It's through webmail.

We also have customers reporting that when they forward mails from the webmail, items are disappearing (attachments, images, etc)

It only happens from the webmail. No issue when using a mail client.

Some customers are the same having the issues with UTF-8 encoding in subjects send from webmail (still waiting for it to be fixed) and due to all these issues they are moving to another service provider. Really great.

Hi,

New release installed, according to my initial tests, this issue seems fixed.
Keeping an eye on the detailed Auto-Folder clean, but so far it doesn't seem to do strange things.
Thanks for the fiixes.

Kind regards.
