Original Email Sometimes Disappearing in Outlook when Forwarded or Replied To

Smartermail > MAPI > Outlook
User replies or forwards an email.  The original email disappears in Outlook but remains in webmail.  The original email never reappears in Outlook.   It is not consistent and happens every once in a while when an email is replied to or forwarded.

I have put a trouble ticket in but I think it is important to post the issue here.  It is documented in 3 of my users and likely many more who do not realize it is happening.
