As title says, ee need more info about how to use SMTP Out rotate IP list, 'cause we cannot understand how to use it to do what we need.

Some sample settings may be the best way to learn how to use it.

Eg:

  • use two IP and send 50% of the mail from every IP (alternating the use)...
  • two IP, use the second IP if the first 5 sending retries fails...
  • and so on...

SmarterMail's IP rotation is pretty much useless unfortunately. If you need true IP rotation, you need to use something like Postfix.

Hi echoDreamz!

Ok, it may be useless, but HOW IT WORKS?
And: can I use it for something?

It's hard to me to understand it from the knowledge base...

No idea, I just know, it doesnt really "rotate" IPs, not like Postfix can, not like other MTA software.
