Exception in Login Check06, Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Yesterday evening the mail server stopped responding to sending and receiving mail and I received many logged errors of:

Exception in Login Check06, Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Running the current version of the software,  having just upgraded a week ago.

Had to restart the server and then things started working again.

That particular login step is when the login attempt is recorded in the logs.  What build were you running and have you experienced this error since then?

I was/am on SmarterMail Enterprise Build 7503 (Jul 17, 2020)

Once it started giving me that error I had to restart the server to get things running again.   Was generating that error for every logon attempt for over 5 hours before I realized what was going on.  So far I haven't seen that error happen again.
