Mailing List Query

Hi,

I've just started with smarter mail and have been exploring the mailing list features.
When I switch on double opt in, I only get a confirmation email if I send a subscribe command. Is there any way to send a confirmation email when a subscriber is added either manually or via file upload?

Any guidance would be appreciated

Hello James,

The confirmation email is only sent when a potential subscriber sends the listserv@domain.com a SUBSCRIBE email.  The confirmation will not be sent when the subscriber is uploaded or manually added to a list.
