7090: Appointments in iOS Calendar (EAS) show ALL DAY, web mail shows not all day
Problem reported by Neal Culiner - 6/4/2019 at 6:06 PM
Submitted
I created appointments in Outlook 365 as I continue to struggle with issues as reported in other posts. I looked at my iOS calendar app today and see that my appointment tomorrow is showing on the 6th (day late). It shows all day. The appointment is for June 5th 1300 Eastern. iOS shows ALL DAY for this event and others yet when I login to web UI and look at the calendar it does NOT show all day and shows the appointment correct. Yet another problem with EAS and SM. Time to switch to gmail for sanity.

I was not able to reproduce these issues on a variety of timezones and from multiple mobile clients. Can you submit a support ticket on this please?

You can't just enter appointments and see it, I'm not sure when or how but they end up changing from set times to all day events. I'm trying to figure out a pattern to help reproduce it but it keeps catching me by surprise. I look at the calendar in Outlook iOS app and it shows all day, iOS Calendar App shows correct, things are just so inconsistent and unreliable.

Hi Neal.  Recommend you open up a support ticket so that we can take a look into this.

I opened a ticket. I'm seeing this way too often and I think it's narrowed down to EAS clients are getting the wrong data. EAS is showing events as ALL DAY events and often on the wrong start date (next day) while SM calendar show correct. Outlook connected via EAS shows wrong as well, iOS via EAS is wrong. Non EAS clients show proper appointments.
