What Org is a user part of [API]

Hi again,

allows me to query all the members within an organization. However, this is not what I'm looking for.

Given a user, I want to know which organisation(s) here is part of.
I cannot afford to query all members of all organizations and check manually if the user is part of it, because I have a lot of organizations to deal with and response time would become way too long.

Is there an API route for this, or a hidden parameter somewhere (I doubt it) ?
How do you handle it in the backend ? Because at some point in SmarterTrack, this is a query that has to happen.
