version 15.7 - new emails not appearing in webmail

Resolved
The Inbox is not automatically updated when new emails arrive. A manual refresh by clicking on "Inbox" or refreshing the browser page does show any new emails.
We have restarted IIS and SmarterMail services with no change. This is across all domains on the server and on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

this is also a problem for us and was just reported by a few clients.  Does anybody know if will be patched?  we cannot upgrade smartermail to V17 for at least another 6 weeks and would like V15 function with an auto refresh.  we have a windows 2016 server.

Just out of interest, why not upgrade to version 16, and if you cannot upgrade to version 16 - have you opened your browsers developer tools to see if there are any 404 errors being returned by the webmail interface?

Hi everyone,

This issue was resolved in SmarterMail 15.7.6956 which was released on Jan 17, 2019:
Fixed: Web interface does not update for new notifications or incoming mail.

Please note: If a system admin is impersonating the mailbox, new messages will NOT refresh in the list. This is expected behavior and designed to behave this way. However, if a domain admin or end user logs in directly, their mailbox should update as expected.
