SM17 - Autoresponder

Resolved
When going to Setting - Autoresponder the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" is displayed in the bottom right corner. Also, when you try to create an autoresponder and click Save the same message is displayed.

Can anyone else can reproduce? I'm wondering if I have a bad setup. I'm experiencing other strange problems. Thanks.

Reproduced with Firefox, Edge, and Chrome.
SmarterMail Diagnostics does not report errors.

Hi Scott,

I noticed such error messages at AutoResponder-site, but not all of our accounts/users are affected... I noticed it with newly created users... already reported this issue.
Running Enterprise 250 same build number you mention

Thanks Thomas. I reproduced on newly created accounts. I just tried an older account and didn't receive the error.

Hey Thomas I'm also able to reproduce it and it does seem to be related to new users.  I'll make sure we get this fixed.

This issue should be resolved in the current release of SmarterMail17.  If anybody else on the community can confirm it in their environment I'll go ahead and mark this as resolved.  Thanks.

Hi Larry,

just tested it with (v17) build 6911 - the account that was newly created and that has had this error-message looks ok for me with actual build - no more error messages on opening and/or saving the settings.

and even eMClient and EWS/AutomaticReplies does not throw error messages anymore, so it looks fixed for me.
I will keep an eye on it if it stays stable during this week.

The Autoresponder is now working for us also. I tested with the SM Free Edition Build 6911. Thanks!
