No Login without Internet
Problem reported by John Stone - 11/1/2018 at 10:39 PM

This may sound strange, but I'm trying to run SmarterMail on a local network with limited access to the internet. We the internet goes down, SmarterMail will not work, the last thing it loads is en.json translations.

So no one can login, until it comes back.

When the internet does come back, it can load all 14 requests to make up the login page.  I can not figure out why it is unable to load the full page.

Any ideas?

This might be obvious but figured I'd ask you are using a local address to connect to the server right?
We do local network testing a bunch in office between eachother and our dev boxes, we have no issues as long as we use the proper local addresses to access them.

Hi Matt, figured it out after running this through ethereal.

Basically, the problem seems to be that if you change the IP address of the network card before adjusting the binding, then you are correct, it will only work on the local loopback (something in the login authentication app).
