DKIM Setup Failure
Question asked by Chris Conway - 6/6/2018 at 12:22 PM
Answered
I'm trying to setup a DKIM signing for one of my domains and am having a hard time.
Within the Domain Admin page I've selected Enable and created a 1024-Bit key record on my Windows DNS server. However when I go back to test the DNS in smartermail it just prompts me to add the key again. I've verified the key exists with 3rd party tools such as MXToolbox but can't seem to get it to work for smartermail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My DNS record looks like this
Record Name - "SELECTOR_domainkey.domainname.com"
Record Type - "TXT"
Record Data - "k=rsa;p=*******"

What version of SmarterMail? I had a similar (maybe same?) problem with DKIM in older 16.x versions, but my problem was fixed in 16.3.6558.

After working with SmarterTools it turns out SM is just slow, after a day DKIM was able to enable successfully.
