Emails with attachments to Mailing Lists not delivered (16.3.6726)

Resolved

Emails with attachments to Mailing Lists are not delivered. Emails without attachments are being delivered.

I'm running SmarterMail Enterprise Edition - Version: 16.3.6726

The non attachment emails have this in the delivery log:

The emails with attachments have these in the logs:

[2018.06.02] 15:09:42 [64127] Delivery started for at 3:09:42 PM
[2018.06.02] 15:09:42 [64127] Spool message was missing Return-Path; Also missing FROM header
[2018.06.02] 15:09:42 [64126] Delivery started for at 3:09:42 PM
[2018.06.02] 15:09:42 [64126] Spool message was missing Return-Path; Also missing FROM header

I've tried changing the List To Address and List From Address but that didn't help. I created a new list and it still doesn't send attachments. I can't find any other settings I can change.

Anyone else experience this?

Any suggestions for me?

I just tested this on the same build and my emails with attachments sent to my list just fine. I realize this is a basic question, but is the file type you're attempting to send as an attachment an allowed file type?

I have an update to this problem. The emails with attachments to the mailing list show up on the subscriber as a bounce. After three bounces the subscriber is automatically removed. So now all the subscribers are gone.

In case this ever happens to anyone else, I finally found my problem. The Max Message Size was set to 30. I changed it to 30,000 and now the emails with attachments are getting though. I don't know how this got changed. I suspect the domain admin changed this not realizing what KB was for. What a weird problem to have.
