Hyper-V Failover Cluster with Windows Server 2016

Hello

We will go for a Hyper-V Failover Cluster with Windows Server 2016 soon. Does anybody run SmarterMail in an Hyper-V Failover Cluster with Windows Server 2016 already?

Unfortunately a SAN will not be available for the first 6 month. Therefore i'm a bit afraid, that the very dynamic data of a mail server will be a callenge for the system to keep the VM's in sync.

Does somebody already experience with this?

Failover Clusters with a Cluster Shared Volume will have no issues with the mail data since a CSV has one file to read/write from.

If you have VMs set up with Hyper-V Replication enabled and a good LAN connection between the two servers, you can set up the VM to replicate at 5 or 15 minute intervals and it should have no problems.

Tank you, sound great! I have a 10GB fiberoptics for replications.

Let's go for it :-)
