On my iPhone 7s, the Delete button does not appear on the initial screen when reading emails.  I have to click ... and then Delete.  Since Delete is such a common task, I think it should appear on the screen and not be hidden under the ... menu.  Rotating to the wide interface did not allow it to show up either.
