Doesnt seem to be the case. On multiple servers within a week's time SmarterMail crashes and fails to load.

There is ZERO conflict between the products. Its as if they were two different products from two different companies. Sounds like you might have a general configuration issue or something. If you contact our Technical Support team we would be happy to help you.

Although not fully in production, I run both ST and SM on the same server without issue; for at least 6 -9 mo.
What is the issue or "crash" experiences that you are having...
Also - just checked... we have ST (free) and SM(free) .. running on a test box for quite sometime, also with out issue.
In both cases.. running on Win2012.

SmarterMail ends up with this error screen

Not Found
HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

The SmarterTrack however continues to run normally.

I am going to test this one more time and then open a ticket once it fails again.

I am quite annoyed by whatever happens. Also want to get to the bottom of it.

HTTP Error 404, usually means either the DNS is off.. or the website it self is no longer running.
Assuming it is the later; the two websites for the two different URLs, should also have to different app pools running (if you are on IIS).  Directories as well, shouldn't shared...
What server are you running your sites on... 
? Also, if you run site; then stop that one; and then run the other site...  both work by themselves not together??

Odd. The server runs Windows 2012R2 and is with IBM Softlayer. Nothing should disturb it. Nothing else running on it besides the two applications.

As already stated in this thread, it is possible to run both SmarterTrack and SmarterMail on the same server.
