auto saving when writing ?

Hi,

when i write a new mail or reply,

i know,when i want to close the window,

it will pop a windows to ask if closing or keeping window.

im not sure if smartermail can auto saving the content per x seconds,

(with my testing,it seems no the feature)

by the way,when i mis-closing window or desktop down,or server down,

those content had been wrote into draft,instead of losing.

No, the value can't be changed. Save as Draft is actually a difficult process and its a very controlled / managed process.

so,the default value is saving one time per 2 minutes now ? or ?

Default value implies it can be changed which it can't.

Drafts are saved 2 minutes after the user stops typing.

Hello,

if shorten the time period,will it make server load alot ? or other issue?
because i test on gmail,it seems only wait 5 seconds.

Very much would impact server load and impact the performance of certain protocols which Gmail does not support.
