Needing help with configuration of SmarterMail 15.x

I am needing help cleaning up some problems with my mail server. I host 2 domains and the primary one has no issues receiving mail.

The second one which is actually our main email. We are not able to receive emails from banking institutions and other random companies. I think it has something to do with SMTP Banner, and the dns settings, i.e. SPF records. I am not able to track it down.

I have several banks that try to email us and it never hits our servers.

I am willing to pay for someone to help and can definitely go further into details when needed.

I really don't know what to ask right now as I am kind of lost.

Couple of things:
a.) for inbound email.. SPF records wouldn't be a factor.
b.) DNS setting are critical to both inbound and outbound.
c.) When you send yourself an email from yahoo or gmail, to the
troubled domain, do they arrive?
