Attachments not send

I'm using SmarterMail 16.3.6508
 
It happens quite often that when I send someone an email with attachments, the attachments are not actually attached;
 
when I select the files I see them being attached to the email....they are also listed at the bottom of the compose window, but when I send the email and then look in the "Sent Items" folder the email contains no attachments.
 
Ofcourse I usually don't look in the Sent Items to see if a message was sent ok.....but in these cases I was alterted by the recipient that the message contained no attachments.

This issue was resolved, from what we're hearing. You'll want to update to the minor release that will be available today as it has that fix in it -- which was rolled out last week -- but other fixes as well, including the IMAP issue affecting blank messages.

Ton...sorry, there were a couple of items we wanted to leave overnight for some additional testing. We'll announce the release in a couple of hours.

I don't read anyting about the attachment problem and IMAP problem in the 16.3.6530 release notes!?

"Fixed: Forwarding a message containing an attachment with non-English characters in the filename adds space after the . in the file extension."

...was not my problem; I had no non-english characters in the filenames.
