DKIM breaks when changing IP in SM16

When changing IP addresses for a domain the existing DKIM Record breaks and is no longer valid. It still shows as Enabled and the DNS Records themselves did not change at all. Is DKIM key created based on the IP address? Also, where can we retrieve the current DKIM record/value set in SM16?
