Wrong Spam Weight
Question asked by Fabio Dias - 1/11/2017 at 12:38 PM

I'm a litte confused about how SmarterMail calculates the total spam weight for a message. I've checked the following entry in the Delivery Log:

Spam check results: [BARRACUDA - BRBL: passed], [PROTECTED SKY - RED: passed], [_REVERSEDNSLOOKUP: passed], [_INTERNALSPAMASSASSIN: 0:0], [_SPF: None], [_DK: None], [_DKIM: None], [_CUSTOMRULES: ], [CBL - ABUSE SEAT - DO NOT ENABLE FOR OUTGOING: passed], [HOSTKARMA - BLACKLIST: passed], [MAILSPIKEZ: passed], [NOABUSE: passed], [NOPOSTMASTER: passed], [PROTECTED SKY - YELLOW: passed], [RFC2 REALTIME LIST: passed], [SEM-URIBL: 12 results failed], [SEM-URIRED: 12 results failed], [SORBS 02 - HTTP: passed], [SORBS 03 - SOCKS: passed], [SORBS 04 - MISC: passed], [SORBS 05 - SMTP: passed], [SORBS 06 - RECENT: failed], [SORBS 07 - WEB: passed], [SORBS 08 - BLOCK: passed], [SORBS 09 - ZOMBIE: passed], [SORBS 10 - DYNAMIC IP: passed], [SORBS 11 - BAD CONFIG: passed], [SORBS 12 - NOMAIL: passed], [SORBS 13 - NO SERVER: passed], [SPAMCOP: passed], [SPAMHAUS - ZEN: passed], [SPAMRATS: passed], [SURBL - ABUSE BUSTER: passed], [SURBL - JWSPAMSPY: passed], [SURBL - MALWARE: passed], [SURBL - PHISHING: passed], [SURBL - SA BLACKLIST: passed], [SURBL - SPAMCOPWEB: passed], [VIRUS RBL - MSRBL: passed]
Delivery for #### to #### has completed (Deleted) Filter: Spam (Weight: 80), Action (Global Level): Delete

In the Antispam settings the spam checks has the following weights:

- SEM-URIBL: 10
- SEM-URIRED: 5
- SORBS-6-RECENT: 20
Total: 35

Why the total weights was 80 instead 35 in the log?

Another thing that would help is a line in the logs that lists only the FAILED tests. Having the passed tests listed is something I dont really care about, I want to know the failed ones. I'd think it would be easy since they parse out the failed tests to put in the headers.
