Is it possible to recover data from the .dat and .stat files

Hi All,

Is there a way to recover data w/o having the original IIS log files? I see there are folders by year under C:\SmarterLogs, in these folders there are a bunch of .dat and .stat files. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Rick. Log into the site and go to Settings >> Site Settings >> Export Logs.

Here you can specify a date range, and the format you'd like SmarterStats to process the .stat files back into web server logs. I hope this helps.

ok i got it going, i just copied in the other folder to the main folder, thank you for your assistance. -Rick
