Alternative method to attach doc in calendar with ActiveSync?

Hi,
 
Anyone knows, how to attach documents into calendar being deliver?
 
I know it's Activesync limitation but recently I notice that the latest Activesync 16 version has been announced to enhance synchronization speed, stability and answer to some limitation like the attach documents in calendars.
 
Is Activesync 16 available and do we get the free upgrade protection for the Activesync license?
