Monitor email spool

We self-host ST and therefore have full access to the ST database.
 
We'd like to setup a scheduled task outside of ST to monitor the incoming and outgoing emails -- to make sure that emails are not getting stuck in either direction.
 
Which database table(s) should we look at?

Hi Mike.  SmarterTrack doesn't have a DB table specifically for the spool.  You would need to monitor the spool folder itself at C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterTrack\MRS\App_Data\Spool

Does this folder include both incoming and outgoing messages?

Michael, this folder should contain IN and OUT folders where you can review the incoming and outgoing messages separately.

We're still having issues with outgoing mail.  I see this frequently in the SMTP log:
  • [37227241] The smtp session has timed out.
Is there any way to monitor incoming and outgoing email via the ST API?
