How to edit Mailing Lists via API

This may not be the best place to ask this but I figured I would give it a shot and see if anyone else has tackled this.
 
I need to create a user interface for staff to manage the Mailing Lists.  Anyone have an example of a decent user interface that would allow a user to select the list and manage the email addresses on the list?  I can't come up with a clear winner of an easy to use interface.

You could try using http://sqlitebrowser.org/ or making your own integration with sqlite that your staff can use. The mailing lists are stored on a per domain basis in the mailinglist.db file. However a nice API for modifying the mailing list is coming to SmarterMail 16, everything will have an API.
