Outlook 2016 does not download emails
Problem reported by John Spackman - 3/21/2016 at 12:04 PM

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2016 on a Mac with the Exchange connector but it does not download emails automatically - I have to manually send/receive.  I read a comment in a thread that suggests that this is a known issue, is that true?  And is there a work around?

BTW, the only way I have found to synchronise my Outlook calendar with my iPhone is via EWS so switching to IMAP is not really an option for me (unless there is a work around for that?)

EDIT: I'm running SmarterMail Version 14.5.5871

Thanks
John

You should be able to do WebDAV/CalDAV on an iPhone as well, I'm pretty sure. That will allow you to do IMAP and WebDAV (CardDAV/CalDAV).

I'll get an answer to your other question in a second.

To your main question,
Yes this is a known issue and it will be fixed when we release SmarterMail 15.

Thanks Matt, I'm pretty sure the *Dav doesn't work on Mac either, I've had to switch from IMAP after trying everything I can find.

Is there a target release date for 15 yet?
