Outlook 2016 not syncing using activesync

We are currently using smartermail  Version 14.5.5871 and activesync with Outlook 2016.  I have one client that outlook just stops syncing with smartermail.
When i went into syncronized devices in his account i found this entry " Windows outlook 2015 activesync" yet i do not have that on my Syncronized devices.
Could this be the problem or is it something else

More information - The email account now starts and stops syncing i have already removed the account and reinstalled it

Same problem with 15.5. Did you resolved?
