Auto close IMAP connections

Hi
I have an issue with clients having way to many IMAP connection to our SmarterMail server. This morning I found that one of my users had more then 1400 connection to our server from the same computer. Many of them has a duration that is more then 10 hours.
 
Is there a way to make SmarterMail auto close IMAP connection. I might have some IMAP clients that is not closing connection correct, but it is very hard to control.

Command Timeout in the Protocol Settings area should close the connection if the server has not received a command within that amount of time. 
 
What is your timeout set to?

The command Timeout is set to 30 min. I believe that is default, but I have seen connections with duration for 18 hours.

They might be sending a command at interval to prevent the connection from closing or they are sending email every <30 minutes. That timeout will only stop a connection that hasn't send a command after 30 minutes.
