CardDAV sync not working on Mac OSX 10.10 and 10.11 with SM Ent. 14.x
Problem reported by Giorgio Borra - 10/2/2015 at 4:24 AM

I have a big problem when syncing accounts via CardDAV on Macbook Pro (OS X 10.11) and Macbook Air (OS X 10.10)

No Mac works with CardDAV connection to SmarterMail Enterprise in ver. 14.x (included ver. 14.3).

The setup of the account works correctly (see https://portal.smartertools.com/kb/a2784/sync-smartermail-with-apple-address-book-and-ical-osx-10_7-lion.aspx) but in Mac Address Book we don't have any addresses.
If I create a contact in Mac I can see this contact in SM.
If I create a contact in SM I can't see anything in Mac.
First server with this problem have a SSL certificate installed, EWS and Active Sync enabled for domains and users.
It works on a Windows 2012 server in hosting on a server farm.

Please Is there someone that could help me to understand the problem ?
One of my customer is ready to migrate entire domain to Office Online if this feature in not solved.

Thanks

Giorgio

You'll have to open the new CALDAV LINK FINDER in SmarterMail 14.3 to see if you can get caldav to work in any MAC device.

Baring success there, then open a support ticket to further this.

Thanks Bruce, but is not related to Calendar.
The problem is with Contacts.
In Contacts menu there's not "get CalDAV URLs" like in Calendar section.
I have try to setup a CardDAV account (MacBook OS X 10.11) with this syntax:

username: name.surname@domain.com
pasword: xxxxxxxx
server: http://mail.myserver.com:80/WebDAV/

setup works fine but in contacts I can see only 100 contacts, I can't see the other 2.200 contacts. I can see all the 2.300 contacts only login via web in SmarterMail.

And with this situation if I insert a contact in Apple Address Book I can see this contact in SM web.
If I insert a contact in SM web I can't see in Apple Address Book even if I wait 1 hour (tested).

I Think this is a bug, I have try with different Mac with different server and different SM versions (13.2 - 14.2 - 14.3).
No one works.
