Auto-Reponder Trigger
Question asked by Dean Lawrence - 9/24/2015 at 2:11 PM

In the documentation the "Disable responses to indirect mail" option is stated to cause the auto-responder to only send a response if the message is sent directly to the user, does this translate to only if the user is in the "TO:" line? If the user has been CC'd on a message, will the sender receive a response also?

Dean, if you have the "Disable responses to indirect mail" option enabled, then that user will only auto-respond to mail if they are included in the "TO:" field.  If their address is in "CC:" or "BCC:" they will not auto-respond.

Thanks, Robert. That is what I assumed, so thank you for clarifying the functionality.
