Whitelist IP Address / Remove Filtering
Question asked by Jim Hunt - 8/13/2015 at 7:12 AM
Answered
We use SmarterMail internally for students to communicate with staff (using Exchange).  I need to whitelist the Exchange server (IP or domain) and/or remove filtering from the mix.  How do I make this happen?

We have just a single domain hosted on the SmarterMail server and are using the latest version.

Hi Jim. To whitelist an IP in Smartermail, log into your Smartermail admin interface as the server administrator and go to Security. Click the Whitelist link. You will be able to whitelist IP there for POP, SMTP, IMAP, and XMPP. You can also disable graylisting for the IP there as well. Thanks.

Tried to add an IP but the system is not saving it. I tried another IP and it worked normally

This IP i am adding is blacklisted on the universal RBL, but i want to add it as the client has a dynamic IP and needs to send emails.

Why doesnt Smartermail saves this specific IP? Any information about it
