Mailbox Migration - Test Connection button does nothing

We are trying to migrate mail from an hMail server.  We've tried POP and IMAP, but clicking the "Test connection" button does nothing. Anybody else have this problem?

The only time I have seen this it was browser related. It was a user that was using IE. I had them try in chrome and it was fine. I believe I also remember a safari user with the same issue, less sure about that. Can you just simple try a different user. I believe it might be as simple as a pop-up issue.

It's not a browser issue (using Chrome and FFox latest versions and tried both), however, it seems to be working this morning. It might have been the old mail server timing out, but I would have expected smartermail to show a progress bar or error of some kind.  Considering this resolved at this time, however, on a related note, the POP option doesn't seem to work. We always have to use IMAP option. .just fyi.  Thanks for your response.

IMAP must be enable by your server admin. IMAP will use port 143 without SSL You can plug your mail server name into here:
http://mxtoolbox.com/PortScan.aspx

If your port is open, you might have it enabled. Some admins do not enable IMAP. Glad it is resolved for now.
