Hello Guys,

i am seeing many entries like this
[2015.06.22] 17:04:26 [kxxxx.kxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.xx] Error during indexing, invalidating index: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file '\\www.xxx.yyyy.zzz\SmarterMail\SmarterMail\Mailstore\Domains\xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.xx\Users\kxxxx.kxxxxxx\Index\_170.cfs'.
[2015.06.22] File name: '\\www.xxx.yyyy.zzz\SmarterMail\SmarterMail\Mailstore\Domains\xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.xx\Users\kxxxx.kxxxxxx\Index\_170.cfs'
[2015.06.22] at Lucene.Net.Index.SegmentInfos.FindSegmentsFile.Run(IndexCommit commit)
[2015.06.22] at Lucene.Net.Index.IndexReader.Open(Directory directory)
[2015.06.22] at MailStore.Indexing.UserIndexer.IndexUser(UserIndexItem userIndexItem, IndexingContext context, String username, String domainName, PendingIndexDeletions pendingDeletions, Log log)
The files are not there. That is right - but i do not know why there should be files with this ending and what i can do to fix that issue.

Does anyone know for what this filetype is being needed by SmarterMail? Perhaps how to this fix?
I already startet "ReIndex" for that sayed eMail-Account.

We are using actual
SmarterMail Enterprise Version 13.3.5535

WebControl GmbH, the ".cfs" file extension is generated by the software that SmarterTools products use for its indexing. In SmarterMail, each user account has an Index folder which will contain several CFS files.  Before you "reindex" next, delete all of the files within the indexing folder. It should then regenerate the necessary files.  If the error persists having removing the files and reindexing, you may want to open a support ticket so we can investigate more thoroughly.

Hello Robert,
thank you for this explanation! :)

I'll give it a try and delete the files. If the issue still exists we will open a ticket.
