We use the Archive Facility on SM, but want to delete certain messages after a certain date (say 1 year). Happy to do this manually. Is there a procedure to do this?

I can see the archive folders for each domain we choose to allow archiving on, Inside there are current and indexed folders.

 

Do we just delete the older zip files, in the index folder ? Do we need to stop and start SM service ?

Any advice would help
