Calendar notification mail does not support Unicode?

I'm running SM 12 Ent. Found out today that calender's notification mail does not show non-English text. Subject, Where and Description for non-English are not encoded.

Hello Kayasidh,

Thanks for the inquiry. I would advise for you to implement the current build of SmarterMail 13.x build to take advantage of the supported Unicode in the calendar. We have made a recent change to the support for foreign characters.
