Hi,
 
Does anyone know how long chat threads stay available? We recently enabled the Chat feature, and cannot find a way to delete messages. Just wondering how long users will have access to Chat history.

Your chat threads will be available from the beginning of when the chat feature was enabled; there's not a way to delete threads or messages. Saving chat history is a default action and can not be turned off at the domain or system level, so your users will always have access to their past conversations.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just have one additional question -

Do chat threads/messages count against a user's total disk space limit? For example, if each user has been given 500 MB of total disk space, will chat messages of say 500 B/message count as part of that?

Sorry about the late reply on this. No, the chat threads don't count against a user's total disk space limit.
