Date format - Central Europe

Is there any way to change/correct czech date format?
In my browser with czech locales it says: "března 20, 2014 at 21:14"
BUT correct format is: "20.března 2014 at 21:14" or "20.3.2014 at 21:14"
It would be nice to choose from these 2 correct options.

Thank you.

I have the same problem. We use Smartermail web based, so no local installation. I can not find it in the settings.

I already posted this problem already in BETA. Still no solution.

Thank you for the request, Petr! As far as I understand, SmarterMail should mimic the date and time format as it is displayed by your browser. However, we've aware of some areas that are incorrectly formatted and some other odd behavior. This has been reported to the development team and will be reviewed.

It's likely SmarterMail will continue to rely on the browser locale for the formatting of the date and time displays, as I imagine this is the simplest implementation for that functionality. However, are you interested in specifying the exact date and time format, rather than mimicking the browser locale? Choosing from 24-hour vs 12-hour and picking a specific date format: 2.brezna 2014 vs March 2, 2014, 2.3.2014 or 3-2-2014?

Look forward to your thoughts on this functionality.

sorry, for replying on such an old thread, but I second this suggestion.

Yes, it's true it is convenient to simply use the the browser's locale for the date/time settings.
But it would be really nice to also have an option to set this manually if required.

Take me for example. My whole setup is in English (OS, Apps, etc.). Hence, my browser is set to English.
But as I do live in Germany, my preferred locale is German (date format: dd.MM.yyyy and time format HH:mm)

So, it would be really nice to have an option to chose the preferred date/time format independent of the browser's language.
