chat search screen hangs with oops page malfunction

Hello,
I did a chat search using a partial email address and did not receive any search results but instead the oops page malfunction page and hang - and anytime I go to the search page that's what comes up.
How can I clear the bad info to use the search page?

Hi Andy.  First thing I would try is deleting all cookies / temp files from the browser.  If you're still seeing the Oops page afterwards, then perform a quick reinstallation by following these steps:
 
  1. Stop the SmarterTrack application pool in IIS.
  2. Uninstall SmarterTrack from the Control Panel
  3. Rename C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterTrack to SmarterTrack_OLD
  4. Download and install SmarterTrack from here.
  5. Copy the file 'SystemSettings.xml' from C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterTrack_OLD\MRS\App_Data\Config to C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterTrack\MRS\App_Data\Config
  6. Start the SmarterTrack application pool in IIS.

I could not reproduce, can you give me exact steps to re-create the issue? What version of SmarterTrack are you on?
