I understand in order to create a shared company contacts list  or calendar across a domain you have to create a user in the web mail interface, share the resource and determine permissions (edit or read only), then attach the resource to individual users accounts through webmail.  You can then Add to Outlook via the sharepoint mechanism from each user account.

 

For quick and dirty full edit access to the shared resource, a user that is allowed full edit rights can connect via CalDAV or CardDAV directly with the shared user credentials.

 

Is there a way on iOS or Android to connect to the shared resource with attached user credentials?
