Is there a way to export a user list, with passwords, and aliases with email addresses from SM v.12.2?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Todd. Yes there is. There is a batch file utility called TSMADump that will do this. I use it and it works wonderfully. You can download it free from the following link: http://josh.com/tsma/tsmadump/. I hope this is what you are looking for.

Can you please post an example of exporting and importing alias data. When I got export ALIAS command to execute, I got only the aliasname, not the email address it goes to. Also there is no example on how to do an ADDALIAS. Thanks

ALIAS will output a list of the alias' on the domain. ALIASADDRESS with the extra paramater of the list you are looking for will give you the address' for that alias list. I have not found a wildcard that will give you all.
Example to get file Alias1.txt of the email addresses that Salesforce@test.com would be:

tsmadump /oAlias1.txt ALIASADDRESS http:
//mail.test.com Administrator Password mail.test.com Salesforce

That is still the case, Mark. I've emailed the programmer for clarification on this.

Forgot about this: A 10 Euro (not free) way to do it.

A utility to export user names, passwords (if you're the admin), and aliases from SM. You can get detailed user info, and then copy and paste it directly into Excel, for example. There's no actual output file, but the copy+paste thing works great.

He also has a utility for moving user info from one SM domain to another.

I will, however, try and remember to report back here if I get a response from Josh of TMSADump fame.
