Can the autoresponder have a start and finish date

Hi, could the autosponder have a start and finish date please?  In another email system I've used, the autoresponder had this feature which was great so users didn't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off.

This feature is already included within Smartermail. Go to Settings > Auto-Responder > Message Tab

At Steve mentioned above, SmarterMail does include the ability to add start and end dates for the auto-responder. This was added in version 11.0.4807 so you may need to upgrade your installation to see this option.

Sorry, I had a look at a supposible online demo of SmarterMail at www.hostmysite.com/smartermaildemo/ which didn't show this feature.  Looking at the demo website, it wasn't obvious to tell what version of SmarterMail was being used either.

Keep in mind that is a reseller of smartermail. I would encourage you to not go with anyone unless its obvious they only use the latest version.

Is there an online demo of SmarterMail anywhere to obtain a basic feel for it before downloading and installing it to test in-house ourselves?

Dale, we don't have an online version, but we do offer a free edition that offers the Enterprise features of the product. You can use the free edition with up to 1 domain and 10 mailboxes. The only limitation is that the paid add-ons do not work with the free edition, so features involving those add-ons would not be available. If you want to test the add-ons though, you can contact our sales team to request a trial key.
