Hi Ronie,

I just replied to your comment on the KB.  Can you let me know if you are looking to translate an error or just spelling mistakes in the body of the email?

I'm asking how to correct translations mistakes and phrases not translated all over the user interface after install language pack.

Ronie,

Are you seeing, for example, [Main.Alerts.frmAlertProfile_RemindDomain] or [DomainAdmin.frmListSettings_DoNotSet], on certain pages (typically in red)?  If so, then the translation XML files are missing that particular entry.  To fix, you need to add the entries.  For example, you would add <resource name="DomainAdmin.frmListSettings_DoNotSet">Your translation of "Do Not Set" here</resource>

The XML files are located in MailService/Translations/{your language}.xml and SMWeb/App_Data/Translations/{your language}.xml

You can look in en.xml for the English phrases that you would need to translate.

Guys, I just want to fix some typos and poorly translated words. I believe I can do this directly in the XML file following the guidelines above. Tks

Hello guys! Same difficulty as before, but now for version 16.x. Where do I find the language file to make minor adjustments to the translation?

For SM 16+ they moved to JSON files instead of XML, they are located at INSTALL_DIR\SmarterMail\MRS\App_Data\Translations

If the translations are wrong, have you reported to SmarterTools to get them corrected within the product?
