Smartermail calendar: Recurring appointment disappears after changing the details

Hello,
 
we have the following problem with our smartermail calendar.
 
Creating a recurring appointment works fine. But when we change (e.g. the details of) a single appointment of this series the changed appointment disappears.
 
How can that be fixed?

Reto, I have been able to replicated the scenario where a modified instance of a recurring appointment disappears in Outlook 2013 and SmarterMail.  I have added it to our bugs list.  We are actively working to resolve several ActiveSync issues.
