When we copy paste the ms excel data in the webmail it id not going in tabluar format

When we copy paste the ms excel data in the webmail in draft we properly see the border and and line check the img "table in webmail looks proper.jpg". But when we send the mail the recipient did not get the data in proper tabular form.

The table border gets vanished and all the data gets jumbled up, check the img attached "issue at recipient end.jpg". Kindly provide me a solution such that I need the table to be in the form of how it is seen in Microsoft excel at the recipient end once the recipient open the mail.

Hello,

It looks to me in the screenshot of your gmail received mail, that the paste is actually in tabular data, only it is mssing table borders and maybe some alignment.

I'm not sure which version of SmarterMail you are using but you should be able to set borders in the table element and change the columns alignment,

Kind regards

Hi Kunal,

It looks like you are running SmarterMail version 14.x. What your seeing could be related specifically to that version. I sent a similar test email from build 8251 (Aug 4, 2022) and the table was formatted correctly in the Gmail account that received the email.

Here's my message in SmarterMail:

Here's the received message in Gmail:

I suggest upgrading your installation to the latest build and if you still see these issues you can open a support ticket.

Could the simple answer be that the receiver client is set to TEXT MODE instead of HTML ?
