Configure Who's On to Track Visitors on Your Company's Website

SmarterTrack can monitor the visitors currently on your website and display useful information about each visitor, such as browser, IP address, and even what country they are visiting from. You can also use Who's On in conjunction with live chat to initiate communications with a website visitor.

Applies to SmarterTrack 11.x-12.x

Follow these steps to configure Who's On to track visitors on your company’s website:

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as a system administrator.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Expand the Configuration folder and click Who's on.
  4. Click Website Integration tab.
  5. Copy the script that was generated and paste this at the bottom of your web page’s HTML code above the closing tag.

Applies to SmarterTrack 6.x - 10.x

Follow these steps to configure Who's On to track visitors on your company’s website:

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as a system administrator.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Expand the System Settings and Who's On folders.
  4. Click Who's On Settings in the navigation pane.
  5. Click the Generate Script button in the content pane toolbar and click HTTP script or HTTPS script, depending if your SmarterTrack installation is using HTTP or HTTPS.
  6. Copy the script that was generated and paste this at the bottom of your web page’s HTML code above the closing tag.
