Create POP or SMTP Based Events

This article applies to SmarterTrack 14.x and earlier. View articles for recent versions.

SmarterTrack's event-driven architecture gives administrators the ability to be notified when a specified event occurs. For example, an administrator can use the events system to automatically receive a notification when POP import of a ticket fails. NOTE: POP and SMTP events are only available to administrators.

Although the steps below show you how to create the most commonly used POP or SMTP event, the procedure is similar for the other POP and SMTP events.
