Automatically Log Agents in to the Management Interface

SmarterTrack allows credentials to be passed through a URL to automatically log agents in to the management interface. For example, if a company used a third-party program in conjunction with SmarterTrack, the specialized URL can be used to allow the third-party program to automatically open the management interface and log the agent in. This means the agent does not have to physically enter his username and password to log in to the management interface.

Applies to SmarterTrack 11.x-12.x

The specialized URL follows this structure:

• http://[SmarterTrackURL]/logon.aspx?username=[UserName]&password=[Password]

The above URL contains placeholder values:

• SmarterTrackURL - The URL to the SmarterTrack portal.
• Username - The username for the agent logging in to the management interface.
• Password - The associated password for the username.

In the example URL below, the SmarterTrackURL is portal.example.com, the username is jsmith and the password is 123456:

• http://portal.example.com/logon.aspx?username=jsmith&password=123456

Applies to SmarterTrack 7.x - 10.x

The specialized URL follows this structure:

• http://[SmarterTrackURL]/logon.aspx?username=[UserName]&password=[Password]

The above URL contains placeholder values:

• SmarterTrackURL - The URL to the SmarterTrack portal.
• Username - The username for the agent logging in to the management interface.
• Password - The associated password for the username.

In the example URL below, the SmarterTrackURL is portal.example.com, the username is jsmith and the password is 123456:

• http://portal.example.com/logon.aspx?username=jsmith&password=123456
