Users are created to allow access to SmarterTrack. A user has different privileges based on the roles that are assigned to that specific user.

Applies to SmarterTrack 11.x-12.x

Adding a User
Follow these steps to create a new User in SmarterTrack:

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as an Administrator.
  2. Click the Users / Organizations icon.
  3. Expand the Users folder in the navigation pane.
  4. Click the specific User that you want to add. Your options are Registered, Registered with Verified Email, and Everyone. 
  5. Click New in the content pane toolbar.
  6. Click the Profile tab and complete the following required fields: Username, Password, Email address, and Display Name.
  7. Click the Options tab to add your Avatar and portal signature details.
  8. Click the Roles tab and select the appropriate role(s) for this user. For more information on roles, please refer to the Roles page of the SmarterTrack Online Help
  9. Click Save.

Deleting a User
Follow these steps to delete a User in SmarterTrack:

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as an Administrator.
  2. Click the Users / Organizations icon.
  3. Expand the Users folder in the navigation pane.
  4. Select the user(s) that you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Click OK.
 

Applies to SmarterTrack 7.x - 10.x

Adding a User

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as an administrator.
  2. Click the settings icon.
  3. Expand the System Settings and Organization folders in the navigation pane.
  4. Click Users. A list of current users will load in the content pane.
  5. Click New in the content pane toolbar.
  6. Click the Options tab and complete the following required fields: Username, Password, Email address, and Display Name.
  7. Click the Roles tab and select the appropriate role(s) for this user. For more information on roles, please refer to the Roles page of the SmarterTrack Online Help
  8. Click Save.
